(24) BUT IN THOSE DAYS, AFTER THAT TRIBULATION, THE SUN SHALL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON SHALL NOT GIVE HER LIGHT, (25) AND THE STARS OF HEAVEN SHALL FALL, AND THE POWERS THAT ARE IN HEAVEN SHALL BE SHAKEN. Winter is on it way. Some trees and plants have dropped their leaves. Flowers have wilted and died. Many of the birds have gone away. It seems as though the world will never be the same again. Amen.
But we know spring will come again. Flowers will burst into bloom and the birds will return. This very same cycle of life has happened over and over since the moment God made the world. Amen.
Gospel message, Lord Jesus Christ tells us: “The heavens and the earth will pass away but my worlds will not pass. Amen.” The Lord our God’s love, Jesus says, will last forever. And those who love Lord Jesus Christ will have everlasting love and everlasting life with God forever. Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ tells us the special way that God the Father loves all of us. Remember every single day the wonderful things he gives us, and thank him for these things. Amen.
ALL ARE GIFTS: from God, from others, and from us. “MOM, HELPING HAND, LOVE, THANKS, HUGS, SMILES, RAIN, SUN, PLEASE, LAUGHTER, HAPPINESS, AND DAD. AMEN.
The most important we give thanks to the Lord our God. Because his love lasts forever and forever. Amen.
TRUST IN MERCY AND BE MERCIFUL: The Lord our God is merciful. He is love itself poured out for us, and He wants no one to escape that merciful love. The message is that the Lord our God wants us to turn to Him with trust and repentance while it is still a time of mercy, before He comes as the just judge. This turning with trust to Him who is Mercy itself is the only source of peace for mankind. Turning to and imploring God’s merciful love is the answer to the troubled world, there is no escaping that answer. Amen.
The Lord our God sets the highest goal for us and expects us to obtain it by His merciful love: “BLESS ARE THE MERCUFUL: FOR THEY SHALL OBTAIN MERCY. AMEN. (MATTHEW 5:7) KJV.

Lord our God, be merciful to your children. Fill us with your gifts and make us always eager to serve you in faith, hope, and love one another. Lord Jesus Christ, let the gift of your life continue to grow in us, drawing us from death to faith, hope, and love. Keep us alive in Christ Jesus. Keep us watchful in prayer and true to his teaching fill your glory is revealed in us. We ask in the name our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
(44) AGAIN, THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS LIKE UNTO TREASURE HID IN A FIELD; THE WHICH WHEN A MAN HATH FOUND, HE HIDETH, AND FOR JOY THEREOF GOETH AND SELLETH ALL THAT HE HATH, AND BUYETH THAT FIELD. We have a secret treasure. Can we guess what it is? Our parents and the Lord our God gave it to us on the day that we were baptized. Amen.
Treasures come in all shapes and sizes. Some treasures cost a lot of money and some treasures money can’t buy. A letter from someone special is a treasure that can’t be bought. A picture of our family is a treasure that can’t be bought. Any treasure that reminds us of a happy time or a special person is a treasure that money can’t buy, a treasure of love. Amen.
Our secret treasure is like that. Lord Jesus Christ calls it “ a pearl of great price.” Have we guessed what our treasure is? Amen.
This treasure of love given to us by the Lord our God and our parents is our Christians faith! Locked inside the treasure chest of faith is all of God’s love for us, the help of the saints, the Mass, the sacraments, and best of all, Lord Jesus Christ in Holy Communion! And way down deep inside, locked in for safe keeping, is Lord Jesus Christ’ promise of great happiness that will be our someday in heaven with the Lord our God. Amen.
Isn’t that the best treasure of all? We must always be proud of our faith in Lord Jesus Christ. It is one of the greatest gifts God has given us. It is a sign of the Lord our God’s love for us and our love for God. Amen.
Our greatest treasure: the Lord our God made the world for us. God sent Jesus Christ to teach us to love. Lord Jesus Christ suffered and died and rose from the dead. Lord Jesus Christ is truly God. The Holy Spirit lives in us today. The Lord our God’s Church does Jesus Christ’ work on earth. The Lord our God forgives us when we do wrong. Our great treasure life in faith with our Lord Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.
