Radio Free Walney offers interactive community based involvement in all audio facilities on this site. At it's most basic level it automatically creates a Daily Play List of Podcaster tracks via the public events calendar - while at it's most sophisticated, it can serve full length documentaries and other types of programmes created and uploaded by the owners of Friends of Walney Radio Presenter Accounts.
Daily Play List: A daily playlist of 10 Podcaster tracks is now available via the public event calendar. Anyone can listen to the daily playlist and a completely new selection is automatically generated every day from an ever-growing music library.
To view today's play list - simply open the calendar, then click the "Play List" link which appears as today's entry. A small popup window will then appear showing Radio Free Walney's play list for today. If you would like to listen in - click the "Listen to Radio Free Walney" link and your system's default media player will then take over and play the tracks one at a time. Should the song title be hyper-linked you may like to click it to view the lyrics associated with that particular track... whilst if the artist's name is hyper-linked it will take you directly to the web page of the creator of the track in question from where you can download a higher quality version and often buy CDs. Once the music has started the Radio Free Walney popup may be closed and re-opened at will.
