When I founded Vornado Air Circulation Systems, Inc. in 1989, I built the company around a single guiding philosophy - to build the best environmental comfort products.

What is the difference between a household fan and a Vornado Air Circulator?
Unlike an ordinary household fan, a Vornado air circulator doesn't just blow air. Instead, it uses Vortex technology, exclusive to Vornado, to create a tornado like beam of air that surrounds the room, floor to ceiling, wall to wall, producing true whole-room air circulation. So rather than drafts and dead spots you get an even temperature and circulation through out the room.
