Virtua Fighter Dot Com (VFDC) was formally begun in late 1998, but the roots of the site could be traced back many years prior. The primary purpose of the site is to act as the hub of all English-speaking Virtua Fighter communities on the Internet; a "virtua" place to gather, communicate, and obtain information about the game.
While we work hard to make the site all that it can be, ultimately, it is the people that visit and participate that gives the site it's character. Mike Abdow has been a Virtua Fighter fan since VF1, and has been part of the online community since the days of RGVA. He was initially involved in maintaining Versus City when the forum migrated to wwwthreads, but has since grown to become the administrator of the site. He is responsible for the daily maintenance and development of the site as a whole and is the driving force for VFDC's movelists.
