Description
The mission of the Victorian Home Economics and Textiles Teachers' Association is to provide leadership, support and services to educators, in order to promote excellence within the scope of the studies of Home Economics, Health and Technology. The Association acts as an advocate to ensure that the principles, which underpin teaching and learning in our subject areas are recognised and acknowledged.
The Victorian Home Economics and Textiles Teachers' Association (VHETTA) is a membership-based, not-for-profit professional association for teachers, which has been operating since 1958.
VHETTA provides its members with a range of services and publications including four newsletters and two journals per year, discounted professional development workshops, curriculum packages, discounted resources, access to library resources and curriculum advice.
