Saint-Gobain chose the term "Technical Fabrics" to describe the activity of this business unit to reflect the type of raw materials and processes we use as well as the final products we produce.
Our input materials include high-tech fibers made from fiber glass, carbon, polyester and hybrid fibers, which are combined with proprietary polymer coatings.
We use traditional and innovative forming techniques to optimize the performance properties of these fibers for specific applications. The results are technically advanced, cost-effective reinforcement materials for Composites, Construction, Industrial applications and components for Engineered Systems.
