Description

Just a little Vantage History

Vantage Financial Credit Union is a full-service financial institution that was originally organized in 1949 and operated under the name of Local 1005 Federal Credit Union. In 1961, the name was changed to ParmAuto Federal Credit Union. On July 13, 1982, Tri-Plant Federal Credit Union, serving Ford Motor Company employees working in Brook Park, Ohio merged with ParmAuto to strengthen its base and operations. On August 2, 1999, ParmaAuto changed its name to Vantage Federal Credit Union in order to represent the diversity of our growing membership. On August 23, 1999, both offices were consolidated into a new office located at 5681 Smith Road, Brook Park, Ohio.

Most recently, in February of 2005, the members of the credit union approved the proposal to convert to a state chartered credit union, changing the name to Vantage Financial Credit Union.
