Vanni Institute of Technology is a high-tech educational institute established by the International Tamil Technical Professionals' Organization. The institute, also known as VanniTech, was inaugurated in June 2003 in the town of Kilinochchi. It hopes to teach latest technology to the people of North-East, generate high-tech employment in the region and prepare them to compete in the international market. Vanni Institute of Technology is a registered Non-Governmental Organization in Sri Lanka.
