Vancouver Granite Works, Inc., located in historic Vancouver, Wash., has been serving Vancouver and Portland area families' memorial needs since 1921. We are the Fuerstenberg family—Bruce, Vicki and (son) Joey—and we take great pride in the work we do for families and for the community. At Vancouver Granite Works, Inc., our desire is that all people, places and events should be commemorated with a long lasting tribute. It saddens us to see all the low quality, rushed memorials made from inferior materials and workmanship.
Since 1921, we have been crafting headstones, monuments and memorials out of Memorial Grade granite - the highest grade of granite available. We do this because we want every headstone or grave marker we create to last forever. Memorial grade granite does not have any faults, cracks or seams that will cause it to deteriorate over time, nor does it have any lacquers to enhance its polish. The result is a truly meaningful monument that will last for generations.
