- Based in "America's Suburb," Southern California's San Fernando Valley, Valley Grassroots for Democracy has its roots in the 2004 presidential election. Our members were some of the founders of grassroots organizations supporting several presidential candidates. They travelled across the country to support their candidates in the caucuses and primaries. We all rallied behind the Party's ticket in the 2004 General Election and helped win an impressive majority for the Kerry/Edwards/Boxer ticket in the Valley.
