Description
Founded by actors, filmmakers, and dedicated film enthusiasts, and in close partnership with the Town of Vail and Vail Resorts, the Vail Film Festival is a platform for independent filmmakers to screen their productions in an incredible atmosphere. The second annual Vail Film Festival will take place March 31-April 3, 2005 in scenic Vail Village, surrounded by Colorado’s majestic snow capped mountains, in the heart of America’s most famous ski resort.
The 2005 Festival program will showcase Feature Films, Shorts, Documentaries, Student Films, Extreme Sports Films, the United Airlines’ Animation Showcase, and the unique Television Pilot genre.
The festival also integrates the magnificent winter sports location by scheduling afternoon and evening-only programming and offering lift ticket packages to accommodate skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts.
