The national-award-winning Tucson Blues Society, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) volunteer-based organization formed in 1984 to educate about and promote awareness of blues music and culture in the community. A Board of Directors elected by the membership governs TBS.
Outreach program Takin’ it to the Streets, a touring presentation of blues arts, live and recorded music, literature, poetry, photography, visual arts, folk art and film at community events throughout Arizona and other western states
