Description
Trout Fishing Services is owned and operated by Dick Marquand, a registered member of the New Zealand Professional Fishing Guides Association. Dick Marquand has fished as far back as he can remember and has a background of over twenty years of professional freshwater fisheries management experience in the Southern Lakes District. He was previously employed by the New Zealand Wildlife Service and the Department of Conservation as a Fish & Game Officer.
Dick Marquand is well known in fishing circles having had over 200 articles on fishing and hunting published, mainly in New Zealand with some in Australia and the United States. Each year, he is asked to speak publicly at fishing club nights, anglers' evenings and to other interested groups.
Dick Marquand holds the qualification of Master of Restricted – Limit Launch, which he gained in 1982. He also holds a Passenger Service driving endorsement and a qualification in Workplace First Aid.
