Tri-State Falcons Field Hockey Club (TSF) was founded in August 1991, with the late Michael Grannum being the first coach and secretary of the club, and Jeffrey Grosvenor being the initial president. TSF is comprised of players mainly from the

. Since our inception into the North East Field Hockey Association (NEFHA) league, TSF has won the league title�8 times (most notably from 1996 thru 2000 skip 2001-2002 season,�again 2003 and 2004), and the Playoffs�9 times (including honors of�8 consecutive seasons; '96 - '03). The team kept up the winning ways in 1999 by winning the North Jersey Cup, Eagles Mixed tournament, and the Boston Challenge Cup. Many of the players in the club are former national players for their respective countries. The club has also produced international players who rose to the challenge and competed in recent international tournaments namely Junior Pan-Am games in 1996, Caribbean Championships in 1997, Central American and Caribbean (CAC) games in 1998 and 2002, and Pan-Am games in 1999, and 2003.

In 2004, Tri-State Falcons placed 2nd at the inaugural USA Club Cup (formerly National Club Championships); repeated as JFK International champions, and has successfully retained the NEFHA league title (8th league title in 13 seasons).
