Tribe Records has been in business for over 6 years. tribe Records is a company that was conceived with a unique philosophy and is unlike any other record company. We at tribe Records emphasize the conceptual content and overall relevance of each project.
Our philosophy is embodied by the phrase Sono-Icon Drama. Simply stated, Sono-Icon Drama is where the sound image is the chief dramatic vehicle to convey a message to the listener. Each CD produced by tribe Records is a concept record, which allows us to bring works of art that are original and diverse to the marketplace, a marketplace that is ripe for new ideas and new artists.
We are an eclectic company and strive to produce melodic illustrations that are conceptual in nature with a focus on the portrayal of the artist's vision and the message. We are not interested with forcing this company and its signed acts into any niche market. Instead we embrace the freedom and autonomy that is associated with the pursuit of passionate story telling through words, music and sonic images.
