I started this travel site back in 1997 in an effort to help people with their backpacking trips to Europe. Back then, there were no decent sites offering hostel reviews and I was looking to put that to an end.
Due to extreme laziness, I didn't really accomplish much and lots of really good travel sites sprung up and passed me by. But I kept taking notes and this is my second attempt at informing the world about the wonders of travelling!
I'm hoping I'll be able to offer some top, first-hand advice to all you budget travellers out there heading to Australia, Canada, Europe and New Zealand.
