Description
TFW was founded in Canada in1999 as a non-profit organization. TFW focuses on partnering with both local medical teams and with social/development groups to provide treatment and rehabilitation to patients and their families. TFW keeps its overheads low by working directly with local organizations and individuals. It favours this approach over the approach of short term, “fly-in, fly-out” camps run by foreign doctors.
