The Great Western Tortilla Company was founded in 1980. Since the company was formed, it has kept pace with the customer's and consumer's demands by offering the most up-to-date packaging plus most popular and unique flavors.
Our Tortilla Chips are made from the finest, most expensive corn available. The corn is cooked in the original old fashioned way in that every batch is slow cooked by hand, insuring consistency and absolute quality. We are more concerned with what we are making, than how fast we are making them. You can bake them, fry them, and bag them automated, but you cannot prepare them automated. We are in the process of creating new and innovative functional food products within the organic category that have never been offered. As always, all our products are Kosher certified and 100% All Natural.
One of the very few companies awarded the OSHA SHARP award. Less than 20 companies in Colorado and 700 companies in the country have achieved this award.
