TOP (Tours of Peace) Vietnam Veterans’ programs offer veterans and families a way to heal from their personal Vietnam War experience. Lingering effects keep many veterans and family members from feeling whole. TOP enables those impacted by the war to move forward. TOP Vietnam Veterans exorcizes the nightmares. We help veterans find the words, and allow families to communicate. Through revisiting the country where it all began, seeing Vietnam as it is today, and helping others in the process, the healing and closure begins to occur. Many of our services are unique only to TOP and not offered by other organizations or agencies.
Our groups develop deep friendships and genuine sense of family. It is common for trip-members to get together and hold mini-reunions afterward.
Our Humanitarian Program provides items, such as food, clothing, medical, tools, livestock, and school supplies for leprosy villages, remote ethnic minority villages, disabled orphanages, schools for the visually impaired, nursing homes, street children schools and homes. TOP has provided hands-on physical rehabilitation instruction and medical treatments administered by qualified medical participants for disabled children. We have also conducted and coordinated international joint humanitarian projects with students and schools in Japan and New Zealand.
