About Toda.org
The Toda Institute was established in 1996 by renown Japanese peace philosopher and activist Daisaku Ikeda in honor of his mentor Josei Toda. Based on the motto "Dialogue of Civilizations for Global Citizenship," the Toda Institute conducts peace-oriented international policy research focused on the power of dialogue to transform, resolve, and prevent conflict, and on finding pathways to effective global governance.
