Description

Welcome to Tinjers Persians, and we thank you for visiting our site. As a mother and daughter team, we have been involved with the Persian breed since 1984 at the same location, in Los Angeles County just 30 minutes from downtown Los Angeles, California. We each have our own separate household and family of cats. We do organize our show and breeding program together, just as we are sharing the males in our individual breeding program.

After actually starting out with Himalayans, (Color point Persians) we shortly there after got involved with solid color Persians, including whites, red tabbies and parti colors in 1986. We are proud to announce, that we have achieved several titles as Grand Champions (GC) and Regional Winners (RW). Since we are a small cattery, and we like to keep it that way, we had to phase out the Himalayan colors in order to add much wanted bicolor Persians. In 2002 we have added the beautiful and exotic looking brown tabby persians into our breeding program. Thank you, Sue Bloomquist of Joleigh's Persians, especially for the beautiful brown tabby boy: "Minnesota", who is doing so well at the shows. He's still being shown as a GC for his RW and Cat Fancy Association (CFA) Breed/Color Win.

As a member of CFA, we have achieved and passed the yearly "CFA Cattery of Excellence" award since it started. All our cats/kittens are registered with CFA and will be sold with a written Health Guarantee in a Sales Contract. Our Cats/Kittens are clean and litter box trained. They will have at least one of the combination vaccination shots before departure. What we call a doll face is exactly what it says. To have a sweet facial expression like a doll, and not the bygone old grumpy look. Even the judges prefer now the sweet looking open face, with the wide spread between the round eyes and ears, rather than the closed-in look, and so do we as well.
