T ilak Gitai was born in 1949 hails from the second generation of royal court painter patronized by te rulers of Bikaner. Since his childhood he began training under his father, shri Ram Gopal Aggarwal. He has received the degree of B.F.A. from University of Delhi.
He specializes in Indian traditional Miniature paintings like Mughal, Rajasthani and Phari paintings etc. and have a vast collection of new and old miniature paintings on these schools. He is also an all round Master Craftsman, designer and sculptor.
