- For many years, retirees in the North Texas area have enjoyed the annual "get-together" provided by TI, yet many have expressed an interest in opportunities for more frequent communications with fellow workers. In 1999, TI assembled a team of twenty TI retirees to explore the needs and benefits of a formal organization for former employees.
