In June 2005, Dr. Lintner was named Chief of Sports Medicine at the The Methodist Hospital in Houston after serving in a similar capacity at Baylor College of Medicine for four years. He is the President of the Major League Baseball Team Physicians Association. He continues in the capacity as the Head Team Physician for the Houston Astros, Team Physician for the Houston Texans and Head Team Physician for The Houston Dynamo Major League Soccer Team.
