Description
Excerpted from the website description:
- Thomas Earl has been described a a vintage folk rock artist whose style reflects elements of James Taylor, Bill Withers and Gordon Lightfoot. Thomas Earl’s musical journey began growing up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and playing in coffeehouses with then unknown and aspiring musicians such as Joni Mitchell, John Hammond, Jim Kweskin and Maria Muldaur. His experiences also included a brief brush with commercial success with a short stint in a rock group called “The Woolies”, as well as working in a group called, “J.K.P.M.R.B.” who released a rock version of Jessie Collin Young’s “Four in the Morning”. After leaving the business for several years, in 2002 Thomas again began focusing on his music. His newly released CD contains 11 new original compositions. As you listen to the music you may hear elements of artists ranging from Crosby, Stills and Nash and James Taylor, to Tom Waits, Bill Withers and Lyle Lovett, as well as new artists such as Amos Lee, Jack Johnson and Lucinda Williams. Thomas now makes his home in the Hudson Valley in New York. For further information, including booking, contact Thomas Earl Productions at: ThomasEarlMusic@aol.com.
