- ABOUT THE HUCKIN' FILLBILLYS
- The Huckin’ Fillbillys, formed in the spring of 2005, are a rock-n-roll band from Northeast Ohio that stemmed from the popular, early 90's hard-rock band, Lazarus. The guys from Lazarus wanted to do a side project that was light-hearted and fun. The wheels were set into motion to put together a “red-necked themed” band of 5 good-ole-boys, uneducated, very patriotic, and musically raw and powerful. The Huckin’ Fillbillys started out as a cover band, covering standards such as Aerosmith, Ted Nugent, AC/DC, and Foreigner but as fate would have it, the writing itch came to ‘em and the boys started writing material for their debut album, “Hicks, Chicks, and Lunatics” of which a couple of songs (Love At First Bite & Mama Didn’t Raise No Fool) may be previewed on www.myspace.com/huckinfillbillys.
