Description
My first Transformer was Inferno, about the time of the series' first screening in '85 ish. I thought he was so cool, he led to my being driven away from the road that was Star Wars and down the Transformers path. I had about 6 or so Transformers before that fateful Christmas morning when Optimus Prime came bursting through some wrapping paper to lead my Autobots.
Oddly enough, although I had a lot of Transformers first time around, I never had Megatron. I don't really know why. My parents were willing to get me the ones I wanted for birthdays and Christmas, as one year I had Snarl (he was cool) but for some reason I never asked for Megatron. A friend of mine named Dorian had Megs, and he actually had him one year for Easter instead of chocolate, so we might have made an agreement between us to get different tfs, I can't quite remember.
One of my favourite transformer moments was playing with Jetfire on the coach on the way to swimming in school. I hated swimming, but Alan brought his Jetfire in and said I could play with it all day. Alas I never had Jetfire either. (I do now, of course!).
