- The mama bird has finally pushed the baby chick out of the nest and Cottage Printworks is flying. Still a little shaky but she is out there flapping her wings. Cottage Printworks is The Simple Way's new micro-business project. Cottage Printworks is committed to ethical business practices and environmental sustainability. We are doing this by using recycled or sweatshop free t-shirts and using water based inks which are far less damaging than plastisol inks. Right now it is a small operation but soon we hope to employ people from the Kensington neighborhood.
