Philip is an ECM Strategist, Systems Architect, and Technical Team leader specializing in the design and deployment of web-based Internet and intranet/extranet systems: portals, collaboration systems, content management systems, and document & records management.
In over sixteen years experience of technical management, he has brought his skills as a manager to a number of early initiatives including Canada’s first national ISP; OpenText, a leading provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions, and major clients of the international web services firm marchFIRST and Deloitte Consulting.
In the early days of the Internet Philip managed the back-end search service of Yahoo! He has designed and deployed infrastructure of a digital asset management system for one of the first intranet sites of Toyota Motors, Japan. As a consultant for the Province of Ontario he assisted outside consulting firms with the technical architecture design and deployment of solutions for their federated portal, CMS, and search services.
