I began creating custom logos for clients back in 1995 as a way to supplement my income at a graphic design agency. I soon realized that working for yourself was the only way to fly. I created custom logos for others for 5 years online.

The Logo Creator was originally designed to give my logo creation services some breathing room. I was getting so busy, I needed to detour some of my clients. Rather than point them to another designer, I decided to create a machine that would help my clients design their own logos.

The Logo Creator version 1.2 officially launched on July 19th, 2000. The first, and only logo set at the time (The 'Select' Edition), sold for $99.
