The Flight's home since 1980, though built in 1845 once serviced three-masted schooners as a shipping office for Bear River's largest employer, the Clarke Brothers. The one constant in Bear River remains the tide being in or out twice every 25 hours, the heartbeat of this historical and beautiful little village.
Rob Buckland-Nicks, owner of The Flight of Fancy, studied sculpture and painting at St. Martin's School of Art in London, England.
