About TheFaithLab.com

The Faithlab is focused on helping faith-based organizations learn how to better use new media in their work. Faithlab includes an active blog, audio and video webcasts, community and a photo blog. The FaithLab (also at faithlab.com) was launched in January 2009 by The Brainstorm Lab. The service is directed by David Cassady, along with a team of writers from around the country and from various faith groups.

The Faithlab is focused on both explaining how faith communities can better use new media, and also on modeling how new media can be used.

The Faithlab often uses the slogan "smart faith," due to its belief that faith and intelligence fit nicely together. Smart faith understands that knowledge never threatens faith, rather it strengthens it.
