Description

Excerpted from the website description: Latest News!..... We are currently looking for agricultural land in the south of England to start up a low impact small holding. The project aims are three fold : 1) To be a living example of low impact small holding that can run courses in sustainability and spirituality 2) To develop a Market garden that can serve the local community with healthy organic food. 3) To operate as a care farm offering skills and a therapuetic environment for people with difficulties in their lives. We are interested in buying a larger area of land with other couples/individuals who are interested in setting up a land based buisness. We would then legally divide up the land and live seperately but be around to support each others efforts. A kind of cohousing equivalent for smallholders! If you would like to chat more about this please do drop us a line.

Can you help with our Land Search?! We are actively looking for land in the south of England now. If you know of anyone that has land who would be happy to sell some to support our project please get in touch. Alteranatively get in contact if you can offer other support or advice you may be able to share. Thanks!!

Additional Information

We have been running courses and retreats since 2006 in the south of France. This was a very rich and rewarding experience for us and we feel very blessed to have been a part of this. We found however that the majority of people coming to our centre were coming from the UK and felt that for an organisation concerned with local sustainability this didn't sit too comfortably on our shoulders! So we took the decision in summer 2009 to relocate back to the south of England and set up a low impact smallholding that could be a living example of what we stood for. We are now engaged in that process and aim to be restablished and running courses again by summer 2011.
