Title

Technology Trends :: Weekly Audio Broadcast :: The Chris Pirillo Show

Description

A Brief Backgrounder

In 1996, Chris Pirillo launched Lockergnome, intent on delivering personality-infused tech answers to his audience. In 1998, he authored the authoritative book on e-mail publishing - further establishing himself as a thought leader. WHO AM 1040, a popular Midwestern talk radio presence, invited him to start hosting a weekly "tech show" broadcast in early 2000. His presence was ultimately noticed by both talent and executive producers at the television network, TechTV. He moved from the middle of Iowa to San Francisco in 2001, and began hosting "Call for Help" - driving a live, interactive program that focused on solving common technology frustrations. As a monthly columnist for CPU Magazine, Chris continues to keep readers informed and entertained as only he can do.

Since leaving the TV network, he has received over 2,500 separate e-mails from viewers who wondered where Chris went - and when he'd be popping up in the media again. Here's one answer to that question. Chris will, as he has done before, easily bridge the gap between consumers and producers, techies and non-techies alike.

Here's a sweet treat for your ears to eat!

Produced independent from those who rule your radio dial, even our partners know the value of letting you take this knowledge with you wherever you may roam. It's a "gnomecast" recorded in MP3 format - freeing you to become a knowledge nomad with any portable device. Podcasting, broadcasting, netcasting... ultimately, you just want the content on your own terms! No longer will the consumer need to rely on retail salespeople to help them make decisions that may or may not suit their needs.
