- , 2000. The column started as a high school version of “Dear Abby” but later morphed into an observational humor column, which it remains today. Around the time of the newspaper column, Brandon started to get involved with the school’s radio station, WEXR 94.9fm. Brandon was under the illusion that despite a poor GPA (a 77), he could get into a good college if he was involved with many activities. The radio show consisted of lame sketches, heavy metal music, and on air bickering with co-hosts. The name, “The Brandon Show” came from an on air argument where one of Brandon’s co-hosts said, “This is not ‘The Brandon Show’.”
