Texas Poetry Journal publishes poetry and poets from around the world in a quality and affordable format, perfect for readers at home or on-the-go. Our goal is to add poetry to the daily lives of busy people, to bring a touch of extraordinary language to each day.
We publish poetry, short essays on contemporary poetry, interviews with poets, and photography. Our print editions are published semi-annually in the spring and fall. The print edition is distributed nationwide. We also publish a Feature Poem on our web site each month.
Editors
Steven Ray Smith, Editor, is a poet and a vice president at the largest culinary school in Texas. He holds degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and Yale University.
