OBIE International Inc., is a privately held corporation incorporated in Ontario, Canada in 2004.
OBIE International was formed for the purpose of bringing together some of the finest scientific, financial and business expertise, to bring to market quality products and technologies, that advance and address globally environmental and health related issues, providing us with the ability to "Create a Better Tomorrow, Today". We are very proud of the highly skilled team that makes up our organization.
Our mandate is to evaluate, commercialize, design, develop, manufacture and license new technologies, with a particular emphasis on solutions-based disruptive technologies, which provide substantial international health and environmental benefits.
Our American Subsidiary, OBIE USA, LLC., works closely with partners in New York, California & Florida, to ensure that we are able to maximize the full potential of the world marketplace.
OBIE International is represented in the Middle East and the European Union to ensure that our products meet stringent standards and that local support and expertise is always at hand, available to address any and all issues and concerns, directly, on a timely basis.
Working with health and environmental related technologies is very complex. OBIE International has the resources and expertise to enable the company to navigate through the various approval processes, and to enable our technologies to be at minimum, in compliance with the ever increasing global demand for high quality standards and accountability.
OBIE International Inc. has worked with regulatory agencies and companies in the U.S.A., Mexico, Australia, Latin America and Germany. We absolutely know what it takes to successfully bring a new technology to market.
OBIE International Inc. has contact with Merck KGgA, EMD Chemicals Inc.- (U.S. Subsidiary of Merck), the U.S. Department and Environmental Protection, the EPA and Health Canada.
Currently, we are evaluating the potential for collaboration and commercialization of technology, with the University of Guelph, for technology developed by the University of Guelph that is a Rapid Method Test System for Bacteriophage Detection.
At this time, OBIE International is not considering representing any third party products or technologies, unless they are complimentary to our current projects and in their final stages of development, as the majority of our current resources are being directed to the commercialization and launch of our new Rapid Method Pathogen Detection System, aptly named "OBIE ™ ".
"OBIE ™" is a solutions-based, disruptive technology, designed to provide quantitative analysis of microbiological contamination in water and food supplies with more accuracy, and in less time than other currently available methods. "OBIE ™" is a green technology, and the international demand for "OBIE™" is significant in many sectors. "OBIE ™" is anticipated to be ready for field testing in March 2008, and we believe "OBIE ™" will truly revolutionize the way in which microbial contamination testing is conducted in the laboratory and the field, and that OBIE ™ will be an instrumental technology in "Creating a Better Tomorrow, Today", and in the future.
