Tennessee Receptive Services was started in January of 1991 by our Company President, Bill Oliver and his wife, Dr. Julie Oliver. Originally the company started in Nashville and handled groups to Memphis, Chattanooga, and the Smoky Mountains, but in the Spring of 2003, with the announcement of the Music Mansion Theater, Bill and Julie moved the Company to Pigeon Forge. Since 1993 the business has flourished, and then survived through a rough period in the travel industry following the September 11 attacks which saw almost half of the independent travel businesses fail. Now, starting 2006, we are primed for an outstanding season handling group tours, reunions, and family vacation packages to the Smokies.
