For twenty years Teacraft has designed and manufactured specialist tea R&D equipment including the unique award winning Teacraft ECM System for miniature manufacture of black tea, now used by leading tea producers and Tea Research Institutes world wide. We supply and install tea factory data logging equipment, process monitoring sensors and instruments, as well as standard tea room equipment, tasting crockery, sample bags, etc. Teacraft produces quality control instruments specifically designed for the tea industry: for moisture determination (the ever popular Thermoray, the digital AMB-50 and the portable hand-held Hygromer), and for measurement of tea bulk density, particle size analysis (PSA), dhool and liquor colour, fermentation optimisation, theaflavin, caffeine, etc. Teacraft is based in the UK and has agents in Kenya, India, and Sri Lanka.
