- TaxBooks, LLC began in 1990, under the name accutax income tax service, as a tax preparation firm. Over the next several years accutax provided tax services, including electronic filing and Refund Anticipation Loans for various individual and company clients. In 1997, accutax expanded the services being offered to include bookkeeping and has since had various bookkeeping clients ranging from sole proprietor operations to tax exempt charitable organizations.
