- About Tango Colorado
- Tango Colorado was founded in 1996, about a year after the first local dancers began to learn this incredible dance , Argentine Tango. Members numbered about 30 dancers. Today we have over 400 active members all over the state and over 800 on our two electronic mailing lists (TC News and TC Discuss). There are dances (called milongas) and practice sessions (called practicas) in Denver, Boulder, Ft. Collins, Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, and Aspen. We are one of the oldest Tango groups in the country, as well as one of the five largest and most active.
