Description
P eter Truszewski, sculptor and owner of Tahoe Log Works, was born in Lodz, Poland and raised in the mountain community of Zakopane. He received a Masters Degree in Fine Arts with a major in Sculpture from the University of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Peter moved to the US in 1987. He has been the featured artist in many galleries in the West Coast showing bronze and wood sculpture.
P roviders of quality custom log work in the Lake Tahoe area, Tahoe Log Works incorporates fine arts composition into log projects varying in scale and shape. Every log is hand-picked for its specific designed location. It is then individually finished to emphasize its natural rustic beauty.
I nterior and exterior projects include log accents (i.e. entries, decks, staircases, great rooms), gazebos, guardrails, handrails, beds, fireplace mantles, furniture with hand hewn planks of cedar and pine, and any other imaginative use of logs. Fine quality carvings are also available.
