When we were first introduced to Calzados de Arte FYL in Madrid, they had been recommended to us by a fellow dancer, and we fell in love with them right away, as have many professionals. From the first day you dance in a pair, you are immediately aware that the art of making fine hand-crafted flamenco shoes is alive and well in that small workshop in Madrid.
