Description
TAO TE CAMP is a newly formed O.T.O. Body located in Taichung, Taiwan. At present we are the only official O.T.O body in Taiwan or in The Republic of China. We are chartered to initiate from Minerval through the Third degree, 0-III*.
The words "Ordo Templi Orientis" translate to "Order of the Eastern Temple" or "Order of Oriental Templars." Indeed, we are pleased to serve as a Vehicle for the bringing of the Law of Thelema to where it's seeds may have first been sown, here in the Far East. There are striking similarities between the basic tenets of both Thelema and Taoist Philosophy and one of our primary objectives is to explore these 'golden threads' in detail.
At this time we are in the process of building our local Temple and will soon be making Initiation available to interested and worthy candidates, both from the island of Taiwan and beyond. Other future projects include local classes, workshops, the translating of Thelemic texts into Chinese, and more.
