Description
I am taking this opportunity to tell you a little about myself, and how I came to create and design decorative switchplates.
Originally from Alberta, I moved to Nova Scotia in 1985 and have since made this very beautiful and picturesque province my permanent home. There are so many wonderful sites to see and visit and I believe this province is home to more artists, crafters and artisans than anywhere else in Canada.
Always involved in crafts, artwork and creating of some kind, I inadvertently developed this decoupage technique in1997 while working on another project. I had never seen decoupaged electrical plates before, although many artists at that time were creating hand painted switchplates.
