Sure Start Tamworth covering Glascote and Belgrave areas
Description
Tamworth is a round 4 Programme that covers Glascote Heath and part of Belgrave. We have approx 600 0-4 year olds in the area. Our aim is to provide services the families want and that meet the social, emotional, physical and educational development of children and their families with regard to race, ethnicity, gender and disability.
We have a new purpose built main centre in Hawksworth, Glascote Heath. We have also refurbished the Community Centre at Belgrave making it our satellite centre. We are also developing safe outdoor play areas.
Improving the ability to learn - through facilities based within the community e.g. support to play groups, crèche, parent - toddler groups to extend their services, increased toy library services.
