- The Superior Park Model Homes story is quite an interesting one, not your typical "about us" story. John Sprague and Jim Sheehan started a company named Everglades Venture Company LLC, which in turn conducted its business as everglades adventures RV and sailing resort located on the shores of lake Okeechobee, Florida. The primary focus of this company is the management and operation of an RV campground and marina. A specialized component of the campground is the rental of park model cabins made available to the general public for nightly, weekly, or monthly use. Everglades adventures purchased these park models from various manufacturers for its rental fleet. A short time later, several potential customers expressed interest in purchasing park models for their personal use. As a result, a second company was needed.
