That's the Sunday Tribune, a weekly newspaper which brings the people of the province all the news from around the country and around the globe without once taking its eye of its main focus - the people, the preoccupations, the passions and the interests of the people of this province.
In a province that has now come to terms with its politically violent past and now trying to deal with the scourge of Aids and unemployment, the Sunday Tribune's aim is to inform, educate and develop hope. Our foundation is an unwavering loyalty to the people of this province and our mission is to live and breathe the dictum: a newspaper is a community talking to itself.
Such a commitment requires of us that we bring our readers the issues and the news which help them make decisions about their lives. And we take that commitment seriously. However we balance that commitment with a sense of humour, a cheeky streak which ensures that while our readers are being informed and educated, they are also being entertained, amused and, sometimes, shocked.
