Sub Marine Services can conduct a range of underwater ship repairs and surveys avoiding the need to dry dock vessels for this type of work. Specialist divers conduct detailed hull examination and surveying, recording everything on video with commentary for the client's benefit. Magnetic particle sampling can also be conducted.
As well as welding and other repairs, Sub Marine Services undertake a number of routine maintenance tasks in-water using specialist equipment. Most common of these are hull cleaning and propeller polishing. Both of these significantly reduce drag and improve engine efficiency with related bunker fuel savings.
Even replacing a propeller can be undertaken in-water, again offering savings by removing the need for dry docking.
