Logic Dream Productions, Inc. was founded in 1996 in Taos New Mexico. Agnes Chavez, owner and developer, started an after school program to teach Spanish to children that grew to become SUBE, a complete multi -media language curriculum designed for school classrooms. She worked closely with teachers over the past eight years field testing the games and adding activities based on teacher requests and needs.
Agnes Chavez, founder and Director of Sube. is an artist, teacher and entrepreneur with a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts.
Her parents are Cuban immigrants and their strong connection to Cuban values and culture influenced her desire to pass on the Spanish language and culture to her son Silviano. She combined her love of teaching art to children with her desire to preserve the Spanish language when she created SUBE and SubeConnects. In 2004, she saw the urgent need for an ESL (English as a second language) program and adapted the SUBE model for English language learners. (SUBE ESL)
